My first 3 weeks in Moscow

Hey lads!
At first I want you guys to know that I am having a really nice time here with some great people from all over europe that all live here in the dormitory.

Uni has start already, I think the level won't be that hard. Apart from my Russian Course in which I am with some people who speak Russian already really good everything seems not to be that hard!

There was this bbig celebration of the city and it was a huge party going around in Moscow by that weekend. It's two weeks ago already, time passes fast so fast...

By the way, Austria Wien has won the first leg in the UEFA Cup. Me and Roolf from Holland were celebrating the victorys of our teams. He supports NEC (not Legia Warsawa...)

So why am I actually studying when there is also a service where I can buy my diploma? Actually, that building with this, let's say commercial, is oposite of my university here ;)

This sunday we made a nice boat trip along the Moskva. Altough many of us had some quite bad hangovers, I think everybody enjoyed the day.
Here's a picture of us in front of the dormitory, where we met. (The girl is standing on the 4th floor, where only us exchange students are living)

After a quite a long way to the port of this little ferry, we were glad to go on the ship and to have some beers and coffee against our hangovers.

Kreml.

Auswärtssieg!

Isn't there a little Dominik Schütz in everyone of us? LOL! (A good friend of mine, Dominik, always acts like that, when someone takes a picture of him)

Well, those were my first 3 weeks! It has been a great time already, and i think it can only become better, as we get more an more familiar with the city.
I hope I can show u some pictures of university aswell, up  to now I haven't brought my camera there.
We are planning to go to Petersburg and Wolgograd (former Stalingrad) soon. Of course I will post these pictures here ;) !

Speak to you soon!

My first days in Moscow...

Hey everybody!

It is quite a long time ago when I heard that i will be studying in Moscow... And now we are finally here (I am here with three, unfortunately not 4, colleagues from Vienna)

My first impression is good, I would say, apart from the fact that everything is so expensive (17 euros for two nectarines - are u kidding me?)

I share my room with Tomas, who is from Czeck Republic and who also studies in Vienna. Going out in Moscow with the lads from the dormitory turned to be quite funny.
Problems about going out? There is one: U have to be in the dormitory at 1 am. So you either return at this time - or at 6 am. Since we are students it's obvious what we have been doing lately...

What else can I tell you? It's now monday and we had our first day on uni. We sorted out all the paper stuff - which is quite a lot and quite hard in Russia ;)

Classes will start this wednesday, hope i can show/tell u more of my time here in Moscow.

Speak to you soon!!

First days in Moscow...
