As already half of my time has passed by, I thought that's a reason to show what I have done here so far and where I traveled to.
The guys from the students council always show us around Moscow on Weekends, which is always fun because almost everybody still has a hangover or is actually still drunk.

Moscow Metro.
On my university: A memorial for the Second World War, which u can find on more or less every corner in Russia.
It was one of my first goals when I came to Russia to go to Volgograd, the former Stalingrad, in order to see museums and battlefields over there.
This big monument is on a hill in the city of Volgograd from were you can see the whole town. Because of that, a hard battle has been fought over there in order to get that strategic important place.

We made a tour to the place were the last big battle of Stalingrad took place. Here, the 6th German Army was surrounded by the Russians (Kessel), which can be seen as the end of the battle for that city.
My second trip was Murmansk, in the very North of the country.
We also visited the Theater of the Northern Russian Fleet. Unfortunately, I didn't understand that much... 
As the sun in Murmansk never gets very high (as the city is very far in the north), u have an intersting light actuallly all the time. Great for photography!
And here I want to show something very special about Murmansk: There are a couple of Garage villages where men repair their cars, celebrate whenever a car has been repaired completely, have a barbecue (шашльик) and, of course, drink Vodka.
That's how one of those garages look like. A group of Russians invited us in to have dinner with them. That's what I call hospitality.
